Towel Topper by Victoria
A tutorial on how to crochet topper onto towels.
This video shows how to:
(1) Poke holes into the towel using an awl. (However, the awl is not mandatory).
(2) Begin the crocheting in such a way that there are no ends to weave in.
(3) Crochet using single crochet instead of double crochet, as many other towel toppers.
Supplies:
Yarn - (Recommended: Red Heart Super Saver, which is an aran weight acrylic) however, other acrylic medium (#4) weight yarns can be used.
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Buttons - 1 inch
Towel (100% cotton is recommended)
Hooks: 3.25mm (D) AND a 5.5 mm (I)
Awl (if using)
