Love the process of creating a shawl, but love the ease of wearing a cowl? The shape of the Tower Shawlette is the perfect solution! By creating an asymmetrical shape and then seaming the cast off to the bind off, you get a perfect accessory that looks like you’re wearing a shawl, all without the hassle of styling it around your neck!

Inspired by my Tower Cowl, the Tower Shawlette features the same stitch pattern, and so is easy and fun to do!

PATTERN NOTES:

Yarn/Yardage: Sample was crocheted in I Love This Yarn: Print (100% acrylic; 142 grams per 252 yards) in the Surprise Stripe Colorway. Any 90 gram amount of worsted weight yarn will do for the main part of the shawl; 30 grams extra will be needed for fringe.

Gauge: 16 stitches by 16 rows over 4 inches in Double Crochet Stitch. Because this is a shawlette, size is adjustable and gauge is not too crucial.

Hook: H / 5 mm

Finished Measurements: 25 inches in circumference by 14 inches deep.
