Fingerless Mitts:
A set of 4.00 mm (US 6) DPNs or needle in your preferred style for working small circumferences in the round or needle size required to obtain correct gauge

Hat:
A 4.50 mm (US 7) circular needle, 16” / 40 cm long, and a set of 4.50 mm (US 7) Double Pointed Needles (DPN)s or needle in your preferred style for working small circumferences in the round or needle size required to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge
Fingerless Mitts:
20 sts & 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette / Stocking stitch with yarns A and B held together on 4.00 mm (US 6) needle.

Hat:
20 sts & 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette / Stocking stitch with yarns A and B held together on 4.50 mm (US 7) needle.
20 sts & 23 rows = 4” /10 cm over stranded pattern with yarns A and B held together & 4.50 mm (US 7) needle.
