Townsend
Hat is knit in the round from the bottom up using one needle size. A single 1x1 ribbing that
changes to stockinette stitch. The stockinette striping alternates two colors that are carried along up the back of the cap. The center back of the hat will have a bit of a vertical jog as you change colors, it is very slight and almost imperceptible. I like to make a twist in the same direction on the inside of the hat when changing colors, so the inside is symmetrical and a clean line of yarn being brought along. The (4) decrease locations at the crown are symmetrical and positioned so the center front of the hat has no vertical line.
