This pattern designed by Tails&Snouts provides an adorable knit bird and owl pattern. Each bird measures about 6 inches by 6 inches, perfect size to hold. The pattern allows the option to build off of the original pattern to create a cuddly owl. The gauge for this pattern doesn’t matter and my be altered by changing the needle and yarn sizes.

Skills needed: Knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on/off (3 needle bind off), knitting flat/in a round (2 needle round), increasing (KFB, M1), decreasing (K2Tog, P2Tog, SSK), and wrap&turn.
