Knit up some Christmas cheer for some favorite toys or throw it on a present or tree or bottle…choose your own adventure.

My husband has an exceptional collection of superhero statues, most of which are on display in our living room. One year after we had put up our Christmas tree and all our decorations he said to me, “Wouldn’t it be awesome if the statues were wearing Santa hats? You could make those right?” “Of course!” I replied… and now you can too! There’s always someone who needs a small santa hat.

Finished Measurements
Approx. 1.5” tall, 3 (4)” circumference

Yarn: Sport or Worsted weight in Red (CC) and White (MC). Less than 1 oz. each
(Substituting a heavier yarn will result in a larger hat, play with your options and change needle size accordingly.)

Needles: Size 4 (3.5 mm) double-pointed needle (dpn)

Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch pattern
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notes: This pattern is worked in the round from the bottom up. There is no need to detach MC or CC at the end of each respective round, simply hold the unused color in the back while working pattern as written.
