When I think of traditional Christmas gifts I think of the toy soldier under the tree or nestled into the Christmas stocking ready to be found on Christmas morning.
My cuddly toy soldier is a beautifully classic Christmas gift for Children and at 48cm tall is great for cuddling.
He is worked flat on 3mm straight needles with seams. He is made with DK yarn and is a great advanced beginer project. A knowledge of simple colour changes, increases and decreases will be needed for this project.
