Trackline Sweater is designed with a relaxed, oversized fit and worked top down. First, the two saddles are knitted separately. Stitches are then picked up along one side of the saddles to work the back yoke, with short rows used to shape the back neck and shoulders. Stitches are picked up along the opposite side of the saddles to form the front yoke.
Next, a folded ribbed collar is worked, followed by the zipper bands. The front and back yokes are then joined in the round to continue the body to the hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round. Two decorative i-cords are then added to each sleeve. Finally, facings for the zipper are knitted and sewn to the inside of the sweater.

The sweater has approx. 16-18 cm / 6.3-7 inches of intended positive ease at the bust area. The sizes 4-5 (5-6, 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10, 10-12, 12-14) years are designed to fit a chest circumference of 57 (59, 62, 64, 68, 72, 77, 82) cm / 22.4 (23.2, 24.4, 25.1, 26.7, 28.3, 30.3, 32.2) inches.
