The chevron pattern used here creates a highly textured, woven effect, to provide extra warmth for these cozy mittens. Inspired by trade blankets, both for the woven texture and the stripes, Holli used a contrasting colour to highlight one of the chevron repeats for some added punch. The mittens are worked in the round, simply slipping stitches with the yarn in front to created the stranded chevrons.

This knitting pattern includes detailed written directions and both charts and written instructions.
