Traditional strikkekofte
Knitting
The body of the cardigan is knit flat from the bottom. The two sleeves are worked in the round, and increased gradually before they are sewn into the body. The body is separated and worked individually from under the armpit. The front and back of the yoke is knitted together. Two button bands are worked separately using double knitting. They are then sewn onto the body.
Size
The stated measurements are for a tension of 24 stitches on 10 cm. An example of sizes S-M-L-XL-2XL-3XL is listed, where small is the one knitted and used as example. Use schematic sketch to find measurements in cm for the different sizes. You can use an existing sweater/cardigan to compare what size you want to make. Lengths should be adjusted by the knitter and drawn onto the sketch.
