The sister-pattern to Circulate…

Trajectory is a progression of color and movement that can be worn either loose as a scarf or looped and sewn into a cowl. Designed specially for SpaceCadet’s Prism Break Collection, it also works with any SpaceCadet Mini-Skeins.

The Prism Break Collection is inspired by something the SpaceCadet crew sees over and over again at shows: people fall in love with the skeins in the brightest rainbow colors, then talk themselves out of them and buy grey instead. And grey is lovely and it’s safe, but if rainbows are what are calling out to you… well, we decided we could do a little something to help! We blended those bold hues with subdued greys to create our Prism Break Collection: twelve amazing colorways that let you embrace the rainbow in a more subtle way.

In Trajectory, alternating bands of arrowhead lace and gloriously squishy garter sections create a backdrop of movement against which the Prism Break can really shine. The shifting stitches work equally well to bring out the subtle, muted rainbow of the Deep Spectrum or the bright, neon pops of the Radiant Spectrum. Both sets blend those hints of color with a soft range of neutral greys so that both the yarn and knitting flow seamlessly from one color to the next.

Fair warning, it’s hard to put down!

This pattern is good for you if…

  • You have a ton of Mini-Skeins that you want to use but dont know what to make
