The Pacific Northwest just wouldn’t be the same without trees! I love the way they look and the way they smell. You can call me a tree hugger if you want. I won’t mind. ;)

Because I’m making a baby blanket, I chose to use a soft grey for the background and a pastel green for the foliage. The teal tree trunks (say that 10 times fast) add a pop of color and help tie the square in with the rest of the blanket.

The pattern uses the mini C2C technique which calls for half double crochet stitches instead of double crochet stitches.
