This classy handbag is made of trash bags. Yep! You heard it right, it is made of plarn aka plastic yarn made entirely out of trash bags. It looks so pretty! Who would have known that the drab trash bags could look so stylish.

Plastic!!! It can be harmful to the environment. However, I like to see the glass half full rather than half empty. Plastic can also be reused for creating art and crafts. This project is my initiative into reuse of plastic.

I want to inspire others as well to use it for making useful things than just throwing it in the landfills. Let us all help the environment a little at a time.

I have used soft, thin plastic(polythene) trash bags for making this handbag. However, you can also recycle soft grocery bags for making plarn out of it.
