This sock was designed after becoming rather obsessed with the idea of traveling cables, and the way they can move. Add to that obsession another one with Vintage Purls lovely sock yarns and a particular skein of the Gondwana colourway glaring at me from my stash and you get these around the world socks. Really any sock yarn with subtle colour changes would be wonderful, I haven’t tried it but I bet even a stripey colourway would be fab too. Two cables starting along the sides and slowly traveling around to the front where they meet at the middle of the foot before finally exploding off to the sides. No matter what yarn or colour you knit it in these socks will feel like a trip around the world.
