This pattern was first published in the magazine Interweave Knits Fall 2012 and is now available as an individual Ravelry download with additional sizes.

These socks are worked from the cuff down and feature classic cables on the instep. The gusset is constructed in an unusual way so that the cables meet each other at one side. The socks are mirrored to each other and the pattern is chart-free.

Sizes 8¼, 8⅝, 9¼, 9⅞ inch foot circumference - foot length is adjustable.

Notions cable needle; 2 markers; tapestry needle.

Gauge 34 sts and 50 rnds = 4” in St st.

Pattern correction for printed Interweave version: on the left sock, before working the short rows of the heel, first work the heel flap as for the right sock.

Diese Socken werden vom Bündchen abwärts gestrickt und beinhalten klassische Zöpfe auf der Oberseite. Der Zwickel wird auf eine ungewöhnliche Art gestrickt, so daß sich die Zöpfe auf einer Sockenseite treffen. Die Socken sind zueinander gespiegelt und die Anleitung ist ohne Stricktabellen.
