The Traveling Afghan is a project where 49 different designers from all over the world work together in making one cohesive afghan while telling you their stories. My square is number two and it represents a family portrait: My husband Calum, from England. Me, from Mexico. And our lovely daughter Magnolia, who was born in Bulgaria and who has filled our lives with sunshine. The square is made bottom up. It has a garter stitch border and the inside is divided by three sections: stockinette, reverse stockinette and lace.

You can find the FREE pattern on my BLOG or purchase the ad-free PDF version here on Ravelry.

In the blog you will find links to all of the other designers and the traveling itinerary for the afghan.
