In keeping with the trend of “what else can go wrong in 2020,” the traveling knit afghan was feared to be lost in transit while making its way to me! Luckily, it turned up and with just 36 hours to spare, I was able to create a visually appealing yet easy-to-knit border to put the finishing touches on this year long collaborative project. I’m so happy to have been a part of this initiative and I look forward to seeing your completed blankets!

PATTERN NOTES
The following stitch counts provide an overall number to pick up as well as an estimated number per square. I selected a simple seed stitch pattern that is quite forgiving if more stitches are picked up in one square vs another. I found it helpful to place locking stitch markers in between each square so that I could count 40 picked up stitches between each. Don’t stress too much — I promise it will come out just lovely! Just be sure you pick up an even number of stitches.
