On cool, in-between days, a fetching pair of fingerless mitts is just the thing to keep your hands nice and warm while adding a splash of style to a cute outfit. Inspired by the European rowan tree which has been a part of Celtic fairytales and legends for centuries, these mitts feature a lace panel of interlocking leaves and twisted stitches. The length can be easily customized, as they are knit from the fingers to the elbows-- this allows you to make them as long as you like and use up an entire skein of fingering weight yarn. While charming in a single colorway, they also look sweet knit up in stripes using a set of mini-skeins

Measure across knuckles to determine which size to knit. Small 6-7 inches, medium 7 1/2-9.
