Traveling Vines Beret
The unusual patterning in Lorilee Beltman’s colorful beret is accomplished by mixing contrasting purled stranding with increases and decreases to move the purled columns around. The purled “vines” continue into the twisted rib band.

MATERIALS
• 3 1 3/4 oz/50g balls (each approx 100yd/120m) of Noro Silk Garden Lite (silk/kid mohair/lambswool) in #2056 purple/pink/green/olive YARN WT = 3
• Size 3 (3.25mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (5) size 3 (3.25mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
• Stitch markers
