There are two texture-filled backpack designs included in this pattern duo. Both were created for the 2023 Crochet Tournament, both include optional colour play, and both are available in both US and UK terms. Each backpack can be made with almost any yarn, although 8-ply cotton is recommended for size, durability and shape retainment.

The ‘Let’s Go Exploring Backpack’ and the ‘Adventures Await Backpack’ were designed to challenge Beginner and Intermediate crocheters respectively. The materials and methods listed will produce backpacks of approximately 32cm x 31cm when laid flat. Different colours, yarn types and yarn thicknesses will produce unique results, and the patterns are written to maximise creative flexibility - you can easily swap the sections of the body around, delete sections or repeat them (you could even mix and match parts of each pattern together!). Several features have also been added in each pattern as optional extras/alternatives to allow you to challenge your skills as you please.
