This simple accessory combines the subtle halo of a silk–mohair blend with a fun speckly merino wool. The “travelling rib” texture is simple to knit but creates a lovely ripple effect. We chose a hand-painted DK, but the cowl or scarf would also look great with a solid colour as the base.

The pattern includes instructions for a cowl and a circular scarf version. Our Travelling Rib Loop Kits contain the correct amount of yarn for either version.

This pattern is an adaptation of our Travelling Rib Cowl.
