Coastal places can often be chilly even on sunny warm days. Taking inspiration from the knotted mesh and bright colours of fishermen’s nets and lobster pots, this cowl or circular scarf came alive.

Warmth without the bulk and made in a luxurious hand dyed silk and merino blend. Choose a zingy bright colour to celebrate the short Scottish summer and enjoy !

The cowl is one size (easy to adapt), the lace mesh is quite stretchy.

Requires
1x 100g/400m skein of hand dyed yarn - semi solid dye
Yarn Pony Show Pony 50% merino & 50% silk was used for the sample.

Needles used
3.75mm for garter border & 4mm for lace section.
