Pattern Notes
This shawl is worked flat, from center out. It begins with a provisional cast-on, and is worked in one direction, alternating between an Old Shale lace stitch section and a garter stitch section, decreasing along one side. The provisional cast on is then picked up, and the pattern is worked again in the opposite direction.

This pattern is separated into a Part A and a Part B. The row count resets in Part B.
