Gather four colors of DK weight yarn to knit this brimmed hat. Begin with a folded brim in 2x2 ribbing and then continue into the main striped pattern. The body of the hat is worked with a fun dip stitch technique that creates clusters of long stitches. The instructions include a video link demonstrating this technique. You only work with one color at a time, making this project perfect for single skeins and leftover bits of DK weight wool. Pop a pom pom on top and keep cozy with this warm winter hat!

Finished Measurements
20″ / 52cm head circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. The length is customizable.

Shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head circumference. The hat stretches to comfortably fit up to a 24″ / 61cm head circumference. You can use smaller needles to make a smaller hat or larger needle to make a larger hat.
