As the bedspread is made from 36 cm (14in) squares, it can be made almost any size required. The edging and fringe are added after all the squares are joined.

1 square is 36 cm (14 inches) across so,
Single size is 30 squares;
Double size is 42 squares.

The squares can also be left single and lined with fabric to make cushions.
