Tree Roots

Reminiscent of the roots of the Redwood trees I grew to love and cherish as a child, Tree Roots begins at the bottom edge and grows upwards. Using just 440ish yards of a yummy sock or fingering weight yarn, you can get away with just a single skein of most of your favorite yarns!
Yarn used in primary photo is Manos Del Uruguay Alegría in color Aguayo. Pattern works beautifully in gently-variegated, tonal, solid, speckled, or gradient yarns.
Pattern for edging is charted.
