Pattern Description
The Trellis Cardigan is a top-down, drop-shoulder crochet cardigan. The upper back is shaped with treble crochet stitches, and worked to the underarms, then stitches for the fronts are picked up from the foundation chain at each back shoulder. The front and back are joined at the underarm, and the rest is crocheted in one piece. The sleeves are picked up and crocheted in the round.
The Trellis Cardigan features wide, flowy sleeves, and although it uses a checkerboard pattern, the design emphasizes soft curves rather than straight lines.

This pattern is recommended for those who can read crochet charts (some written instructions are also included to help you along).
If you know how to work treble crochet (tr), double crochet (dc), single crochet (sc), chain (ch) and double chain stitch, you’ll be able to make this cardigan.
