Climbing roses draped neatly over lattice, an ornate garden centerpiece, is turned into a wardrobe staple. The simple repeats are great for beginner cable knitters and the twist on the standard lattice pattern makes Trellis engaging for those who are already familiar with cables.

Trellis is a pullover with a rectangular construction, dropped shoulders, and a scoop neck featuring an allover cable lattice pattern on the body. Trellis is worked bottom up in the round until the neck and shoulder shaping, where both shoulders are worked at the same time flat for both the front and back. Trellis can be made in both a men’s and women’s version, with the men’s version having a deeper armhole depth and longer body length. Cable patterns are charted.
