Sometimes you want a little bit of texture in your socks, but nothing too challenging in terms of attention. And if you’re like me, you always prefer knit stitches to purls. The Trellis socks use easy-to-knit mini mock ‘cables’ to form a delicate pattern that’s easy to memorise and knit – no fiddly purl stitches!

You can choose between a short row heel – great for contrasting cuffs, heels and toes – or a standard heel flap and
gusset.

Instructions are given for one size. To make smaller or larger sizes you can increase or decrease in increments of 4 sts, ie. 56 or 64 sts. Advice is given on how to adjust the ribbing accordingly.
