This pattern is a reflective pair of socks with knitted-in Tall Pines, often referred to in the American South as Trembling Pines, as they are so tall and thin that they will sway and shake in the wind.

Socks are unisex. Pattern is suitable for solid, tonal, or self-striping yarns. Results may vary or pattern may be hard to see in busy hand-dyed yarns.

There are 17 different size/yarn weight combinations, in stitch counts of 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, and 72 stitches

Pattern can be knitted in fingering, sport, or DK weight yarns, or fingering held double.

You will need DPNs or circular needles in size suitable for your yarn weight.
