Tri-color Linen stitch is one of the stitch patterns featured in my Craftsy class, “Simply Stunning Colorwork”. I was having so much fun with it, in class, that after finishing the class I decided to knit a garment with some of the leftover yarn. The result is this vest, an easy project that showcases Tri-color linen stitch beautifully.

Knit it in bulky yarn for a cozy vest, or in a finer yarn for more drape and elegance.

Instructions are given for working the armholes with or without shaping, depending on whether you like a round or a square armhole.

Mix different yarn weights and lots of colors to use up stash and make a show-stopping garment. Have fun!
