After only finding honeycomb blanket patterns that required picking up stitches to create the border, which I find to be a pain, I decided to write a pattern where the border and body of the blanket would be knit simultaneously!

This pattern requires minimal colorwork skills:
Carrying yarn up knitting
Intarsia

The pattern includes directions for knitting a baby blanket, but also states how the pattern can be used to create an adult sized blanket.

Materials:
one 100g skein of each of the three colors (I used soft pink, light peach and ivory)
Needles - Size 10 US
2 stitch markers
