Made with 2 strands of 2/30 ( 1 ply) yarn. You can use any thickness yarn but if thicker it will be larger and thinner it will be smaller.
Could also be made on other gauges of machine with different yarns.
It can aslo be made using different stitches such as : Tuck thread lace or even plain.
