As soon as I finished this headband, I knew I would be it wearing every day. It’s loose enough to be comfortable and interesting enough to invite compliments should I decide to leave the house. And its subtle colors go with almost anything–all you have to do is adjust the twist to find the combination that suits the day.

I also love the little pockets. Okay…they’re more decorative than practical, but you could easily nest a wildflower in one of them should you feel the urge. Or maybe fasten a house key inside one of the larger triangles? I think my next version will have buttons.

Wear is as a double headband, with the twist in front for the turban effect, or as a delicate scarf or cowl by draping it once or twice around your neck. A versatile warm-weather knit and accessory!
