Adrasteia is another shawl from the popular “Shawls with a Twist” series. The short rows keep things interesting, the patterns are easy to follow, and the shawl can be crocheted in any size.
The instructions are aimed at a bit advanced beginner who have mastered the following stitches and techniques:
- magic ring
- chain
- single crochet
- double crochet
- treble
- front post double crochet
- back post double crochet
- puff stitch

The scarf on the cover picture has the following dimensions: 170 x 75 cm.
The scarf can be crocheted in any size, as the rows are repeated. Please note that if you use a different wool, a different needle size or generally crochet looser/tighter, the size may vary.
The following material and tools are required:
- Crochet hook 4.5 mm
- Scissors
- Sewing needle to sew up the loose ends
- Stitch marker (optional)
- Pins for stretching (optional)
