I love front post and back post stitches, and think that patterns that you can create with them are just wonderful! The scarves that are created are cozy but not too thick, and definitely eye-catching!

With this pattern you can crochet a fancy flat triangle shawl. It is crocheted starting from one corner, and has an elegant border along the edges as a finish.

The pattern repeats after a few rows, and is very easy to remember. You can easily crochet it when watching TV in parallel, once you get the hang of it! Depending on your preference, the shawl can be crocheted larger or smaller.

The pattern is aimed at somewhat advanced beginners.

Numerous pictures make it easy to follow along, I’ve also drawn a crochet chart if you prefer that form of instruction.

You should be able to do the following stitches:

  • chain stitch
  • double crochet
  • front post double crochet
  • back post double crochet
  • crochet stitches into the same stitch (increase)
  • crochet stitches together

The triangular scarf shown on the images has a lengh of 170 cm, and a depth in the middle of 55 cm. The scarf can easily be crocheted larger or smaller, depending on your preference.

Required tools:

  • crochet hook 3,5 mm
  • scissors
  • needle for sewing the ends
  • kitchen scale
  • stitch marker

You may sell scarfs made with this pattern, as long as you have made them by yourself and mention me as designer of the pattern. You are not allowed to sell the pattern, further distribute it or publish it (also not parts of it).
