Skill Level: Low Intermediate

Dimensions: Woman’s S/M (M/L) approx. 21”/53cm (22”/56cm and up) head circumference. Directions are written for size S/M with changes for size M/L in parentheses.

Gauge: 16 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in Stockinette Stitch, unblocked over larger needles

Materials:

  • Size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle (16”/40cm cable for in the round or at least 40”/100cm cable for magic loop or double pointed needles) or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Size 8 (5mm) circular needles or double pointed needles
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch markers - 14-16 (optional)

Yarn: approx. 170 yards/155m of worsted weight yarn. Used in photos:
Malabrigo Merino Worsted in
Color A: Tuareg (blue)
Color B: Pearl (beige)
Color C: Pearl Ten (charcoal)
