Feminina e muito confortável, a camisola Tricana é uma peça inspirada nas tradicionais camisolas poveiras (Póvoa de Varzim). Da camisola de pescador manteve diversas características, como o decote frontal vertical, o cós com ponto ziguezague e malha de mousse, o encaixe das mangas e os tradicionais bordados. Nesta reinterpretação da peça, o modelo foi ajustado, tornando-se assim mais feminino, e os bordados ganharam mais delicadeza.

Esta camisola é tricotada de baixo para cima e sem costuras. O corpo é tricotado em circular, pelo lado do direito (sempre em meia), até à altura das cavas. Em seguida, separam-se as frentes e costas que se tricotam em idas e voltas até à altura dos ombros. As mangas são tricotadas desde as malhas apanhadas na cava para os punhos, também em circular e pelo lado do direito. A gola é formada a partir de malhas apanhadas ao redor do decote e, no final, são bordados os desenhos em ponto de cruz sobre a malha.

Feminine and extremely comfortable, the Tricana sweater is a piece inspired by the traditional “poveiras” sweaters (Póvoa de Varzim). The fisherman’s sweater maintained several characteristics, such as the vertical front neckline, the zigzag waistband, the garter knit, as well as the sleeve fitting and the traditional embroideries. In this reinterpretation of the piece, the pattern was adjusted, thus becoming more feminine and as a consequence, the embroidery gained more delicacy - not only in the design, but also in the colours used.

This sweater is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up. The body is knitted in the round to the armholes, then front and back are separated and knitted flat to shoulders. Shoulders are joined with 3-needle bind off and the sleeves are knitted from picked up stitches in the armhole, down to the cuffs. The neckband is picked up around the neckline and knitted flat. Finally, the cross-stitch patterns are embroidered in the body and cuffs.
