Tricia (triangular scarf)
by Winnie S
Work from the tip upwards, increasing 2 sts every RS row to form a triangle.
After a solid stocking st border on both sides is established, then begin the lace pattern.
Alpanika is a light and airy yarn which can be used for a range of needle size, depending on the design. The manufacturer suggests 4 to 4.5mm needles but for this pattern, I used smaller needles to obtain a good balance between the solid and the lace stitches. It is absolutely fine to experiment gauge and design by using different needle sizes.
The pattern can be easily adapted for bigger/smaller sizes.
The scarf can be tied as it is but I included two other options: scarf ring or i-cord ties
