I love optical illusions. I love tricking the eye. I don’t love complicated knitting.

Trickery is a two-color stole that uses stripes, slipped stitches, and short rows to create some neat effects. Choose any two solid or semi-solid colors in fingering weight yarn. The higher the contrast between your colors, the more stark the effect will be!

The pattern includes both charts and full written instructions. Its worked flat in rows but a circular needle is required for the center section. That’s just one of the tricks you’ll use when you make your Trickery!

Enjoy!
