Trigger Mittens
Patterns for trigger mittens with a separate forefinger can be found in wartime knitting books. Originally intended to wear while shooting, I find the’re also useful if you use a walking stick with a flat handle; these are held with the forefinger in front of the stick and the other three behind and that finger can get very cold!
These mittens are sized to fit a woman’s hand but instructions are included on adjusting them to fit as they are knitted.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them,
please consider making a donation to the British Liver Trust where
the money will go to fund research and support the families of
children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my
fundraising page here
