Trigo Cowl
The Trigo cowl pattern consists of a very easy repetition of stitches but full of texture that reminds us of wheat stalks.
It is knit bottom up and tapered on the top for a closer t to the face. The nature of the stitch design allows the cowl to stay up to cover your nose for extra warmth.
This pattern includes instructions for super bulky and bulky weight yarn.
It is written in US standard terms and includes large and small sizes. The small size can be worn by adults and children.
It is recommended for beginner knitters.
SUGGESTED YARN:
Super Bulky 6 weight yarn like Fiber Fever Squish, Malabrigo Rasta.
Bulky 5 weight yarn like Malabrigo Chunky, DHG Piuma.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
12mm / US 17 and 8mm / US 11
GAUGE:
Super bulky: 8 stitches x 11 rounds
Bulky: 12 stitches x 17 rounds
YARDAGE:
55 - 110 yards / 50 - 100 m
