This is a pattern for an ornately cabled stole. There are also instructions contained within the pattern for a shawl, (20 1/2 inches wide) a wide scarf (12 1/2 inches wide), and a narrow scarf, (8 inches wide) giving you the choice of what you’d like to make. The focal cable is primarily 2 stitch cables, making it a faster knit if you can cable without a needle.

This stole is knitted with d.k. weight yarn. The stole is approximately 16 1/2 inches wide and 68 - 74 inches long. The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

The stitches are charted only.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.

The yarn used in the sample is Handmaiden’s Lady Godiva and the piece was expertly tested by by ljs
