This pattern includes directions for 4 sizes. Two items from fingering/sock weight yarn and two items from worsted weight yarn. There is a scarf for each weight yarn and a shawl for each weight yarn.

You will cast on the width of the shawl/scarf and work the length of the shawl/scarf. After the bind off you will work the ruffles.

There is a drop stitch and that forms the lace effect.
This is knit on the bias, instructions in the pattern.

Pattern includes pictures of the ruffle pick up and the drop stitch. Directions are color coded for ease in following.

The shawls can be gathered up and worn as scarves too.

Gauge for fingering weight: 20 sts and 27 rows = 4 inches.
