The Garter Stitch Sock Collection contains 3 sock patterns, each with a different design made of garter stitch going down the front of the sock. The purpose of this collection is to provide beginner knitters easy patterned socks to expand their sock knitting horizons, and to give experienced knitters a fun, relaxing knit that is one step above vanilla.

This pattern, Tripping Hazard, features a zig-zagged pattern down the front that is relaxing and intuitive to knit. Dress up your socks with this fun and neutral stitch pattern!

Pattern Details:

-Each pattern in the collection has 5 sizes ranging for foot circumferences 5-9 inches. Foot and shoe charts in both US and UK sizing are included to help make socks that fit perfectly.

-There are both Charts and Written Instructions.

-Patterns include My Short Cut Heel in both Stockinette and Garter Stitch. My Short Cut Heel is a heel construction that involves NO SHORT ROWS, with instructions of both garter and stockinette stitch.

Pattern Notes:

Yarn/Yardage- 50-100 grams of fingering weight yarn will be enough for any one size. Samples were knit with Yarn Bee Color Idyll (50% super-wash merino wool, 30% nylon, & 20% acrylic; 415 yards per 100 grams) in various color ways.

Needles- 32-40 inch / 80-102 centimeters circular needle for magic loop in size US 2 (2.75mm). Or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge- 32 stitches and 56 rounds over 4 inches / 10 centimeters in stockinette stitch after blocking.

Notions- Scissors, yarn needle

Sizes- There are 5 sizes in the pattern, and the differing instructions for each are written as 1 (2, 3, 4, 5). Each size will give you a foot circumference measuring 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) inches / 12.5 (15, 18, 20, 23) centimeters.
