This cowl features a beautifully textured Tunisian lace stitch. Worked in 3 colors the cowl is worn doubled.

Colors are carried up the side of the work to minimize the number of ends to weave in.

The cowl can be worked in DK or worsted weight yarn, instructions for both weights are included in the pattern.

For DK weight yarn use a size H, 5 mm Tunisian crochet hook.
For worsted weight yarn use a size J, 6 mm Tunisian crochet hook.

The size is easily modified. I used less than 50 grams of each color for the DK and worsted weight samples. If you’d like a longer cowl you may need more yarn.

The cowl is worked flat and joined after blocking.

Photo tutorials are included to show special stitches used.

Finished dimensions:
For DK version 5.75” wide and 50” long before joining.
For Worsted version 5.25” wide and 55” long, before joining.

This is appropriate for an adventurous beginner. If you have some experience with Tunisian crochet you should be able to make this.
