Alice Starmore states:

Trøndelag is the name given to the region surrounding Trondheim, and two items from this area particularly caught my attention. The first was a glove with a geometric diamond mesh overlaying vertical stripes of light and dark. I have used the pattern in this man’s blouson jacket with dropped shoulders, knitted in chunky yarn. It is made in natural colours which are much softer than the original glove, which is a very dark brown and cream.
