NEEDLES
Needles in size 5mm (US 8) or size to obtain gauge, either circular needles with a length of 40 cm (16 inches) or double-pointed needles.

You can work complete hat with circular needles (using the magic loop methodfor upper part) or start with circular needles and at the crown switch to double-pointed needles.

It’s possible to work the entire hat with the larger needle size, as you increase the number of stitches after the brim for the main part.

GAUGE
20 sts x 26 rows = 10x10 cm (4”x 4”) working in tendril motif (Rounds 5-12 of Main Part // one pattern repeat is over 6 sts) in the round

YARN
Yarn will be held double
Drops, Lima (65% wool, 35% alpaca, 100m (109yds) per 50g), colorway mix 9018, meeresgrün
