Troll Notes

To Fit 3 – 6 years Circumference 18” Height 8”
Materials 16” size 6US circular needle, set of size 6US Dpts, Snap Fasteners for pupils if required, Stitch Markers, Yarn needle, Floss needle(should be fine enough to go through the fasteners), Embroidery Floss in the following colors: - Black, white, orange,, maroon, turquoise, green and purple. Yarn: - approx. 20G Of purples (in 4 different shades)red, turquoise, yellow, royal blue, 10g of white, pale pink, warm pink, rose pink, jade, pale blue, tan, black, and gold.
I bought the little mini balls from Amazon, they worked out very well.I

Gauge: - 22sts and 27 rows = 4” x 4” measured over St.st. Use any size needle to obtain correct gauge.
Abbreviations: - k = knit, p = purl, Ψ = k1,p1,k1 all in next stitch, “an oval” on jade = k3tog (ws) p3tog(rs), DS = Duplicate stitch over these sts when complete. 1 = pale pink, 2 = rose pink.

Poppy – Embroider bright blue loops for flowers on top of bright blue sts, ensure they are fastened well.
Wherever you see - - - - - - it means you need to outline something, it can be done by using a slip stitch or like the outline stitch above and weaving in and out of it.
The duplicate stitches on Suki’s headphones make such a difference, and the partial flowers embroidered onto the headphones sets them off.
