This cowl uses the same slip stitch pattern as my Tropical Scarf pattern but, this time, worked in the round and using black as the plain colour.

It only uses about 25g each of a plain shade and a bright, variegated one. The pattern works best where there is a strong contrast between the two yarns. The slip stitch pattern used means that the plain colour will be dominant on one side and the variegated on the other so the cowl can be worn with either side on the outside for different effects.
